The Radiology Department at Shree Hospital is well-appointed for carrying out routine as well as special X-ray investigations with the supervision of experienced radiologists and competent personnel.

 Sonography

Sonography is the simplest, cheapest modality available as a base-line evaluation for pregnancy and other multi-system functions.
Sonography forms the gold standard for the most precious aspect of human evolution, the FETUS (baby). There is no other modality which can replace it. Sonography also forms a primary base-line evaluation in abdominal and other organ disorders. 
Sonography can be broadly classified into 3 types:-
Routine Sonography
Interventional Sonography
Dopper & Colour Doppler

 Mammography

Mammography is a specific type of imaging that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine breasts. A mammography exam, called a mammogram, is used to aid in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women.
An x-ray (radiograph) is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. Imaging with x-rays involves exposing a part of the body to a small dose of ionizing radiation to produce pictures of the inside of the body. X-rays are the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging.
